Dear swimming friends, welcome to the 29. edition of Plzeň Sprints. Below you will find important information for a smooth running of the competition.
01
Entry & chips
- Complex opens daily at 7:00 AM.
- Access to the changing rooms is permitted only with an accreditation card via the designated turnstiles
- Jumping over or crawling under turnstiles is prohibited (public sauna is also in operation).
- Accreditation on Wednesday 14:00-20:00, other days 7:30-8:00.
- Team leaders will receive chips after accreditation for a deposit of 500 CZK - exact amount required.
- The deposit is returned after returning all chips at once.
- Chips are also used to lock the lockers - please share them in pairs.
- Lost chip fee: 200 CZK (paid at the reception).
- No outdoor shoes allowed in the pool and locker room areas.
- Wednesday 15:00-20:00 - indoor competition pool only.
- Lane 0: backstroke starts (one-way, permanent backstroke ledge).
- Lanes 8 and 9: dive starts (one-way).
- Forbidden equipment: fins, paddles, snorkels.

Race programme
- Order of finals: A-final first, then B-final.
- Break between fast and slow heats: only 10 minutes.
- Swimmers from the slow heats can use the inflatable pool for warm-up/swim-down.
Swum first: 4 fastest heats of each event, third heat of long-distance events, and after a 10-minute break the remaining events.
- Belongings can be left in the lockers from Thursday to Sunday.
- On Wednesday evening, all lockers will be unlocked - lockers must be emptied.

- Live broadcast on ČT Sport: Thursday from 5.40 pm (finals programme).
- Live broadcast on ČT Sport+: the entire finals block from 5.20 pm every day, and from 4.20 pm on Sunday
- Changes to Thursday’s programme: 5.20 pm – opening ceremony, followed by the club children’s race; 5.40 pm – start of the finals programme (200m freestyle – Men’s A final).
- Entry to the premises: by accreditation card, via designated turnstiles by accreditation card, via designated turnstiles
- Changing rooms – lockers: one locker for every two people, locked with a chip
- Coach limit: 1 coach per 10 swimmers.
- Assistant starter: in the access corridor area (kids corner).
- Victory ceremonies: immediately after the conclusion of the event (after the B-final).
- Refreshments for coaches: club meeting room in the upper lobby.
- Accreditation cards allow free public transport during the competition.

- Seating areas will be marked on the map (posted before entering the grandstands).
- Withdrawals and fees during the competition will be included in the entry fee invoice (sent to clubs within 14 days after the event).
- Please be considerate - there will be many participants, the goal is a pleasant atmosphere and good results.
